Mitchell & Danoff Law Firm sends SMS text messages to existing clients who have provided written consent. Messages include appointment reminders, case status updates, document requests, and other communications related to the client’s personal injury case. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How consent is collected

Clients opt in by signing our retainer agreement, which contains the following consent language:

“Consent to Text Messages. Client agrees that Mitchell & Danoff Law Firm may contact Client by SMS text message at the mobile number Client provides, regarding Client’s case — including appointment reminders, case status updates, and document requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Client may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of representation.”

The retainer is signed in person at our office or electronically via Adobe Sign before any messages are sent.
